Hi all. I'm posting from work. The Geography Bee is going on, so there isn't much to do in here except look busy! I wish they had this bee when I was a kid. I think I would have done pretty good. Too bad the person reading the questions can't pronounce the words! That irritates me! How tough is it to pronounce Saskatchewan? And she has a doctorate. I'm just a high school graduate, and I can pronounce this stuff.

I was sick all weekend with a cold. I'm feeling a little better today, but not 100%. So we didn't accomplish a great deal at home. I still haven't put up my tree or done much shopping.

Hey, could somebody send me the bookmark for posting on The Back Porch? I lost it when my computer crashed. Thanks a bunch!

Had my job evaluation today. It was pretty good. I guess they're going to keep me around! ;-)

It's pretty foggy here. It's a good thing none of us are going anywhere tonight.

Well, the computer is up and running. I still can't find the disc with our new house pictures on it. We are still unpacking. 18 years of marriage can mean a great deal of stuff accumulated. We have the kitchen done, the bedrooms are pretty much done. I need to get some curtains up on some of the windows, and I need to get some blinds for some others.

We got quite a bit accomplished this weekend. The garage is still pretty full. Our goal for the coming weekend is to organize it so we can get our cars in!

Now, off to read some blogs. Sorry I've been so out of touch. Things are hopefully going to start settling down soon.

Hi everyone! I'm at work right now, taking a few minutes to update you. We are totally moved out of our old house, and we are slowly unpacking in our new one. My computer is not up and running to where I can use it every day. I do have it plugged in, but that's about it!

We love our new home! As soon as I get my computer stuff unpacked, I will be able to e-mail anyone who would like to see our new home!

Take care, and I'll try to update again soon!

Well, my computer is back home. They only found a virus on it, and they didn't have any trouble getting it to start. Anyway, I haven't had time to hook it back up yet, and I probably won't until after we move into our new home. Speaking of which, we close on it a week from tomorrow! Yippee!! I'm so excited. So you probably won't see much of me until after December 1st.

I can't post much more from work. Just thought I'd pop in to say hi, and thank whoever took over my hosting duties at The Back Porch!

I almost forgot! Happy Birthday to me!

I'm posting this from work. My computer at home is dead! The power won't even come on! ARRGGH!! I don't know how long I'm going to be without it. I'll try to keep you posted from work. I'm off tomorrow, and I have no idea how much time I will have during regular working hours. I'm doing this today since all we have is Book Fair today.

Anywho, I'm supposed to be hosting the Back Porch this week and next. If you are reading this, anyone, could someone take my turn? I don't have any e-mail addresses here, and I'm in a hurry. I don't want to get caught doing this.

Well, Halloween was not as good as it could have been. Nothing bad happened, it was just so cold! We didn't have many trick-or-treaters. Rachel didn't go this year. She has decided she's too old for it. I don't really care one way or the other. I've never really been all that big into Halloween. She never really got into trick-or-treating, even when she was little. She's just not a big candy eater.

I was up in the night with a headache. First one I've had like that in a long time. It's gone now, but I'm tired. I need to straighten up the house and clean the bathrooms today.

Work was tough yesterday. I was exhausted by the time I got home. I spent all day shelving a cart full of books and straightening shelves. So many books were out of place. I didn't even finish all the shelves! Worked from 9:00 to 3:15 and all I got finished were the Fiction, Biographies, and some of the Non-Fiction. For those of you who are familiar with what I'm talking about, Non-Fiction is the most time consuming to straighten and put away. Not only do they have to be put in numerical order, but also alphabetical order within the numerical order, if that makes sense. I started at the 1000's and made it all the way to the 600's. So I still have the 500's through the 001's left. Working in a library sure makes it easier when you go to the public library. You know exactly where to look for, say, a book about gorillas. (599's non-fiction). I guess that is your useless fact of knowledge for the day!

Now that I've bored you all, I'm going to go make myself usefull. Smell ya later!

Hi all. Not much to say. Work was interesting today. My boss called in sick, so I had a sub working the cafeteria with me. I hate it when we have a sub out there. The kids really take advantage of her. And they are wound up as it is. It's been rainy, and they haven't had recess for several days, on top of it being Halloween week. At least they have Friday off. I have to work, but it should be a piece of cake with everyone gone. All the teachers will be in a meeting at the high school, and the other lady and I have to stick around the library and await the delivery of the book fair stuff, and then set it all up. I am seriously looking forward to it.

I made a big pot of chili yesterday. It is yummy. On a more femal related note, I'm still waiting for my period to start. Haven't had one since the end of August. This is really getting ridiculous. I seem to skip every other month. But hey, the doctor says I'm not going through the change. And they know everything, right?!

Useless knowledge fact: Did you know the only President that was never married was James Buchanen? His niece served as First Lady.
