This week has just been wild. Work has been wild. I think the kids are already sensing the end of the school year. The cafeteria is just out of control. We are doing good just to make sure no one gets hurt. ;-) I'm still working extra hours, and that doesn't leave much time at home. I brought work home with me one night, but at least I get paid for those hours, too. My period finally stopped! Yippee! Just two days before I was ready to pack it in and call the doctor. A lady at work loaned me a book about estrogen and natural therapies, and pre/peri menopause. I haven't had a chance to look at it. I haven't even had a chance to read my mail! I also forgot to send Mother's Day Cards. Sigh. We have had so many storms, and so much rain. Thursday morning I woke up to water in my basement. Needless to say I spent Thursday afternoon and evening carting up soggy boxes and junk for the trash man on Friday morning. One good thing came out of it. Our basement is now organized, in plastic containers, and what is in cardboard is up off the floor. The bad thing was our phone was out from Wednesday night until just a few hours ago. Some idiot had a phone jack installed in the basement ON THE FLOOR! And it was one of those double ones, so when the water got in, it shorted the whole system out. It's fixed now, but what a pain. We managed to finish up all the work in the basement tonight, and just as we did, we heard thunder and rain coming down! It's supposed to rain all weekend, so we'll probably be mopping again. And we mowed the yard today. Tried to squeeze it in between showers. We have had so much rain. And Rachel had an orthodontist appointment today. It's just been a wild and crazy week. Tomorrow we are planning on going to see Spider Man. I hope we like it! Smell ya later!

Well, I managed to get some housework done today. It's not perfect, but it's much better. We found Rachel's karaoke CD yesterday, and she's been singing all weekend. I didn't find any bras at all, but I ordered one. I hope I like it. We did eat lunch out at TGI Fridays. I love that place! My period is still at it. Sigh. I really hate this. 12 days and counting. Smell ya later!
