Geeze, it's been a week since I blogged. It was just an extremely busy, tiring week. Monday my Dad and his wife came for supper. I got off work early, rushed home and cleaned and cooked. We had a nice visit, and they left about 9:00 to go to their hotel. Tuesday I rushed home early from work to wait for my new dryer to be delivered. Then I spent the afternoon doing 8 loads of laundry. And that evening I took Rachel to her final skating party of the year. She had a great time.

Wednesday I didn't do much of anything but work late, and then brought work home to do. Thursday we went to the Kansas City Royals game with a group of kids from school. All the good kids were awarded this trip, and Bob and I got to go along with Rachel. We had a great time, got sunburned, ate good food, and were exhausted when we got home. The Royals lost, but we still had fun. Then we had to lug all the wet gabage out of our basement for the trash man the next day.

We've been busy all weekend. We mopped the basement floor to help get rid of that wet, mildewy smell. We mowed the yard, and did laundry and now I'm pooped.

The coming week doesn't stack up much better. Monday we have to make a trip to get supplies for a project at school, Tuesday night is a band concert, and Fun Day is Friday at school. Acckkk!! I'm ready for a week's vacation.
