Well, work was much, much better today. Boss woman was in for a bit this morning, was pleasant, friendly and all around nice. It was such a change. I'm hoping this means we are back on an even keel. I was really stressing over what had happened on Wednesday, and was worried this was going to impact my job in the fall. I have since found out indirectly that the teachers are all really worried about the school year starting and what she is going to be like. So I guess I wasn't the only one who noticed her behavior. I also overheard her telling someone today (it was totally accidental on my part) that she thinks she might be pregnant. And there is a rumor going around that she is going through a divorce. If that is true it's a shame, but it doesn't excuse her behavior. Just like my pre-menopausal crap doesn't excuse mine. By the by, I did finally start my period today. I was beginning to think it would never happen. Not much else to tell ya today. Smell ya later!

Thank God for blog!!! Thank you Deb for getting me started!! I really need it today. Work SUCKED!! It was the first day of third session of summer school, and we were swamped. I was the only one in the office and I was handling everything very well. That is until boss woman came barging in, guns blazing. First of all she isn't even supposed to be working today, and secondly she didn't need to be sticking her nose in my work. Anyway, I was scheduling a child and she got right up in my face, telling me I couldn't schedule her in that particular class because it was full. I didn't ask for her assistance, and I didn't need it. I calmly explained to her that all the classes were full, so I was going to go ahead. I also told her I was handling it. She couldn't let it go. She kept on getting in my face, literally, and finally I just handed her the book and said "Here, you do it then." She just looked at me and said "You need to walk away from your desk for a while." I said "Okay, you can take over." And I left and went in to the library to cool off. When I came back she said "We need to talk." I said "You're right, we do." And then I proceeded to tell her she was rude, and this was not the first time she was rude, and that there were days I just wanted to quit because of her attitude. She claimed she was never rude. Ha! I told her I wasn't they only one who thought she was. I hope it opened her eyes up to her behavior. In the end she apologized for being rude, and I apologized for not handling it very well. She was gone for the rest of the day. Thank God! The bad part about it was the class she was telling me I couldn't sign her up for was not full, and there was plenty of room in it! Why did she stick her nose in? If she had left me alone, everything would have been fine! This woman is just a bitch. There is no other way to describe it. I am really not looking forward to the fall. She is going to be my boss! ACCK! I thought for sure she was going to fire me today. I'm sure it will be all over the school that I told her she was rude. Too bad. She was. Thanks for reading, if you still are. Man, summer school money is nice, but the aggravation isn't worth it. But knowing me, I'll do it again next year. I'm a glutton for punishment. Smell ya later!

Well, let's see. Thursday and Friday were very nice at work. Quiet and uneventful. The acting principal did something hilarious, though. She was on the intercom over the whole school getting ready to announce the winners of a drawing, and she said "Students in the gym, hold your balls please." We were all cracking up. I was still laughing when I tried to answer the phone. It was a riot! We didn't do much this weekend. Went to see MIB II. It was pretty good. Not as good as the first one. We want to go see the new Austin Powers movie next. It's so nice to be able to go to the movies now. I have today and tomorrow off! Yes! I don't have a car, but that's okay. It's nice to just stay home. The van is in the shop. I drove it there this morning, and then walked home. It was about 2 and a half miles. Good workout for me. Not much else to report. Smell ya later!
