I'm on vacation! Well, I'm not going anywhere, but summer school is over. Rachel and I went to the dentist this morning for our cleaning, and both got great reports. Tomorrow is orthodontist and Wednesday is hair cuts. We also have to go to the VA hospital tomorrow to get some paperwork. We are buying a house! Well, actually we are building one. They haven't even dug the hole yet, so I guess it will be a while. Maybe I can figure out how to post some pictures of it and the building progress. Our VA loan hasn't officially gone through yet, but it shouldn't be a problem. We get to pick out the color schemes, light fixtures, appliances, you name it. That should prove interesting. I'll try to keep you posted, if anyone is still reading this thing. Ha!

We also went to the bank today and started a savings account for Rachel. She had a student account in New York, so we transferred the balance down here. I'm also going to get a MO drivers license this week, and we need to go school supply shopping. So much for a week off!

My Dad called last night and said my brother is getting married in December in South Carolina. She's my age and has two children. He's six years younger than me. I sure hope it works out. Also my nephew is getting married in two weeks. He has gotten the preacher's daughter pregnant, so there you go.

I almost forgot. My period finally finished up today. After 18 days of it, I was ready. I was just about to call the doctor when it tapered off. I guess when you don't have one for three months, it takes a while to get rid of it all. I know, TMI.
